# Photos and files

Attach a photo, use your camera, or send a document from your iPhone or Android phone.

Tap **+** beside the message field and choose what to attach. Add a sentence explaining what Keli should do with it before you send.

| Choice | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Photos** | Opens your phone's photo picker so you can select images. |
| **Camera** | Takes a new photo to attach to the conversation. |
| **Files** | Opens the system document picker for files available on your phone. |

## Before sending

Check the attachment previews and remove anything you did not mean to include. Make sure text in a photo is readable; good lighting and a close, straight-on picture help.

Attachments upload when you send the message. Keep an internet connection available while they upload. If Keli reports that a file is too large, choose a smaller file or split it into smaller documents.

## Camera and photo access

Keli asks for camera permission when you take a photo. Choosing an existing photo uses the system picker; select only the images you want to share.

If camera access was denied, open your phone's settings, find Keli, and review its camera permission. Return to the app and try **Camera** again. You can also choose **Photos** or **Files** instead.

## Keep an image Keli creates

Use **Save to Photos** on a generated image to save it to your photo library, or use its share control to send it to another app. Grant permission to save if your phone asks.
